Communication Field Officer

Main tasks:
- Contributes to the better understanding of ICRC’s operational environment in Saada through media monitoring, environment scanning and regular analysis
- Contributes to the implementation and running of specific projects / programmes, in a mainly independent manner
- Develops and strengthens outreach and maintains contacts with local media agencies/focal
- Plans and organises Com related filed trips
- Contributes to written reporting
- Contributes to the annual ‘planning for results’ (PfR) exercise and budget follow-up
- Contributes to the development and production of communication tools and material
- Supervises staff and contributes to appraisals (if existent)
Selection requirements:
- University degree or professional diploma
- 3 - 5 years of work experience in a similar field
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic
- Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
- Very Good analytical skills
- Very good computer skills
- Team leadership skills
